Aomori

Aomori one of Japan’s 48 core cities.
It is located at the Northern Tohoko region of Northern Japan and has an estimated population 287,800 and population density of 350 person per km. Aomori literally means blue forest or could possibly translated as ” green forest”.
Aomori Nbuta is a famous Festival performed from August 2 – 7, annually and is listed as one of the 100 soundscapes of Japan by the Japanese Ministry of the environment. Amumori attractions includes the ruins, museums and mountains. The Hokkaido Mountains have good locations for trekking with hot spas.
